Kodak Ektachrome E100 is the main current option, produced in 4x5, 5x7 and 8x10 sheet sizes alongside its roll film versions. Fujifilm's Provia 100F is also available in 4x5, though supply has tightened in recent years, while Fujifilm discontinued Velvia 50 in 4x5 and 8x10 sheet sizes in 2022, so it's no longer part of the current range.
Why shoot slide large format film
A large format slide held to the light or on a light box shows off transparency detail and colour that's hard to match with any other combination of format and film type, and unlike some large format colour options, both Kodak and Fujifilm still keep at least one E-6 sheet stock in active production. Filmproof tracks slide large format film prices and stock across UK retailers.
